Thank You - NHS
Not only do I run this business - I also work pretty much full time in my local hospital - Kettering General Hospital as a Medical Education Co-ordinator.
Having many friends working on the front line, but myself working from home, I wanted to give something back to the Hero's putting patient care first and working in extremely difficult circumstances some of them have never experienced before. The Junior Doctors I know of - who only just last August gradated from Medical School - are being so brave!
Some of these Nurses and Doctors are working extremally long shifts with little or no time for rest and recuperation. Its very draining on both their body and mind.
The constant cycle of hand washing, drying, washing and drying again is certainly taking its toll on Nurses and Doctors hands. And they HAVE to do it for the sake of health and safety.
That's why I donated a whole heap of hand cream to the hospital to say THANKYOU. Its only a little gesture compared to some of the huge corporate businesses out there but its still someone.
I just hope it brightened up someone's day and that for me is the best feeling.
